Thornville - Thorn Township Volunteer Fire Department Located In south central Ohio in Perry County, proudly protects 3500 people living in an area of 45 square miles. These brave Firefighters operate out of one station that protects a primarily rural area. Thornville has a public department with all members on a volunteer status. The department's ISO rating is 5 within the village and 5/9 for rural areas 5 being if your home is within 1000 feet of a hydrant. J. D. Postage, who has served the department for many years, leads 30 volunteers into action.
